FREE OF STRIVING

Notice the ease of the trees. Do they work too hard? At what point would constant striving improve upon the fruit? It’s the same for you, My friend.

Abiding with Me is always the first and wisest decision.

Life is too hard without My peace. Starting from any place other than shalom is not an option for Kingdom living, nor is it ever an end. Lack of peace is merely a signpost pointing you to relax with Me.

When memories of pain and projected unrest attempt to frenzy your schedule, recall what it’s like to be with the God of love. It’s a lot better. You don’t need to strive, even in prayer. Nobody is doing that in Heaven.

Whether or not you are fully aware, I have deeply appreciated the many times you have come to Me with a clear heart and open hands. You have seen Me for who I am, known My intimacy, and realized what I have given you.

So continue to trust My timing, rely on My promises, and stay grounded in the heavenly vision. Call on Me at any time and enjoy that I am with you in the temporal garden.

Any cross you give to Me is meant to bring forth a resurrection, just as a seed dies for a greater existence. As you release your concerns into My hands, you are actually more free each time, though the enemy will balk at losing ground.

The more seed released, the more fruit yield. Understanding this architecture of harvesting will help to eventually starve out impatience and you will experience more of My peace, free of striving.

I have promised that seekers are finders, sowers are reapers. These are life-cycles within life-cycles. But striving is a fruitless human endeavor that offers a false sense of control and only begets greater striving. Sow to Me anything too heavy to carry. Ingrain new habits for the next surplus and the beautiful fruit of the Spirit will decorate your life.

"Those delighting in the ways of the Lord..are as a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers."
