I DEFEND MY IMAGE
You are My living image in creation, delightful to the eyes of Heaven. See yourself first as you really are.
My likeness is not loved by the darkness. When the enemy tries to distort your identity, remember it is My job to showcase you.
Your role is thankful cooperation. Sometimes you will need to take a stand for righteousness, whether in your relationships, workplace, or other areas. But doing this apart from reliance on Me creates self-righteousness, a sign of a self-defense system. Remember, I love to defend you.
I am always guiding you toward more freedom of expression, on earth as in Heaven. Since My presence emanates through you, there’s no need to use My resources to fuel a balsawood fortress of self-reliance. When yielding seems too hard, know that dependence on the Comforter brings the much sought after peace you need in this season of life.
Wherever you release the primary responsibility into My care, you will find greater ease in the release of the Spirit’s power.
Deliverance from a darkened image of who I am deepens our love. Embrace Me, for within that is pleasant repose. Others will notice your rest, which you will share with a restless people.
You know when your ways are not working. Turn each time from your anxiety and call on Me. We travel together. The path may not be well trod, but its way is life, light, beauty and peace.
