PERFECTING MY BRIDE

You are invited to see your life from Heaven’s perspective. 

But perhaps current circumstances don’t always appear submitted to Me.  When you say, “But how can oppression, sickness, pain, aimlessness, and boredom have anything to do with your holy will for my life?” then check in with My viewpoint.  Perhaps your current circumstances need adjustment―or perhaps you are exactly where I want you.  Remember, this life is about us living together.

I am passionately grateful that your heart posture continuously says “My life is yours, Lord.”  Being surrendered re-enforces our covenant love.  But remember that it’s expression in the earth is according to My initiative, plan and timing. 

You might see your response merely as an act of duty, but that is not the only way, nor always the first way.  I am looking mainly for your loving Yes. 

And then don’t forget to take wonder in the beauty unfolding.

I am perfecting My bride.

In preparation of your eternity, My vision of you goes well beyond time-limited earthly existence. 

I am with you, amidst your trials, your questions, your humbling situation.

Zoom out to perceive this more comprehensively .  Could Joseph, Daniel, or Mary have served Me in better ways?  If I wanted them to, then yes.  Did I exalt them?  Oh yes. 

Review again how much your life means to Me. 

When I insist that you be at peace, I realize how difficult for you this may sometimes be.  Though you might prefer to run hard for Me, frequently I desire to simply admire you, let you be who you are, and give you comforting assurance to be chill “and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)

Look for Me—in the creation splendor, in the gifts that overcome, in the fellowship of loved ones, and in satisfying worship of Me.

Whatever power, wealth and glory I’ve assigned for this occasion, enjoy it today.  In the midst of our present scene, know that Heaven saturates My tremendous love for you.
