Why Nurture the Body?

We have received visions about how the spirit of false fathering (or antichrist) manifests as “a big head and a small body,” with the goal of starving the body: both our physical bodies and the Body of Christ.

Some may think that we have pivoted into Somatic healing because it’s “playtime”, “easy”, “trendy”, etc. Perhaps thoughts like these arise: “Does Zia just want to stroke her ego? Isn’t this self-indulgent? What is this actually doing in the spirit? Is this a distraction or a waste of time? What’s actually happening?!”

They’ll have to take that one to Father God. ;)


The Body is the Temple of the Spirit

UNCORKgenius teaches you to treat your body as a receiver — an antenna — for the Holy Spirit. You learn to listen to what your body is sensing during prayer, and that somatic awareness becomes an avenue for healing that reaches places talk and the intellect can't touch.

For example,

  • Naaman dipping in the Jordan as a first stop — to disrupt his pride, influence, and greed through self-fathering.

  • Jonah having a very somatic experience in the belly of a whale — to disrupt his bitterness. Ha! 

  • The Israelites physically walking around Jericho, banging instruments and blowing trumpets — to disrupt their self-effort. 

  • Jacob sleeping on a rock and then building an altar to God directly afterward — to disrupt his orphan spirit. 

  • Jesus putting mud that he himself mixed with spit on a blind man’s eyes — to disrupt the idolatry of religion and the unbelief of the crowd. 

  • Jesus turning 5 loaves and 2 fish into food for thousands — to disrupt his disciples’ poverty spirit. 

Talk about playtime! A favorite one we cite is Ezekiel lying around naked, mixing bread and cooking over his own dung — for months no less! That was to disrupt the self-idolatry of Israel. 🔥

Note that the WORD was made FLESH — the flesh was not made word. It can be easy to have that backwards. The true direction is from Heaven to earth, from spirit to body, from supernatural to natural, from God’s love to ours.


It turns out that the prophetic embodiment is actually IN SEASON. 

As you know, Zia has been into somatic work for years and has encouraged many of you to do that work outside of UNCORKgenius, but has never felt led to offer this program until the false fathering spirit (antichrist) started manifesting.

The actual antidote to false fathering is FEEDING and NURTURING the BODY. It’s a prophetic act that fills the temple of the Holy Spirit, where we have only just cleared it out to this point. It addresses the starvation of the body specifically, and it counters the addiction and greed of the head demanding endless resources, something the church sometimes even encourages. The shame, pain, fear, abandonment, and starvation that live in the body are addressed through prayers of movement and making. This brings all of this body poverty to God within the context of somatic worship, addressing the temptation to a “big head with a small body.”

This temptation is to feed with an over-intellectualized gospel without translating it into real experience in physical form. This is what we are addressing, both in the spirit and in the natural. The church, when aligned with the antichrist spirit, creates the dynamic of starved body and an intellectuallized, overly wordy, over theological, overly heady gospel. 

We reverse that dynamic by investing in the body (i.e., “sowing”). An especially powerful way is through Spirit-led moving and making during times of prayer and worship. We are inviting the Spirit to move in us and through us.


Remember, resources follow what we sow into. Whatever we need we must sow into to get more of it. Are we sowing into physical abundance — health, finances, nurture? The 5 loaves and 2 fish were all the boy had, and Jesus had the audacity to ask for it!  ;)

May we all experence more of the Father's blessing and inheritance! Luke 12:32: “Fear not, little ones, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.”

THE TREASURY OF MY PRESENCE

The key to living the richest life possible is by surrendering to My love. 

Since you have already given Me so much, I understand any hesitation to give more.  Trading the old for the new may require a kind of death.  The oak seed must die to become the oak tree.  So much of this life is about dying, which, ironically, is vital to your life.  "He who believes in Me, though he may die, shall live." (John 11:25)  

More gifts are coming.  Release your grip on the ones you cannot have, or what you do not truly need.  Ask yourself:  What new rewards will come forth by letting go of the current burdens?  Let Me help free you.  What you entrust to Me is safe.  Each person is merely passing through this world on the way to eternity, where we have an unfathomable storehouse of wealth. 

Whatever keeps you from drawing closer to Me must go.  But in that place I promise to immediately begin the process of resurrection.  “For if we died with him, we shall also live with him.” (II Tim. 2:11)

Living with Me is the fountain of beauty, freedom, and peace to enjoy the life I have called you to―not the one someone else deems better or less difficult. It starts now.  Let Me love you where you are, and you shall live the richness your spirit knows as My Kingdom heir.
